This Privacy Policy explains how TTANDEM LLC ("ttandem", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ttandem website, mobile application, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. See also our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

Category	Examples
Waitlist (website)	If you join our launch waitlist on the ttandem website, the first and last name, email address, and city and state you submit.
Account & profile	Email, name, username, date of birth (used to confirm you are 18+), country, avatar/profile image, marketing-consent choice.
Authentication	Identifiers from your sign-in provider (e.g., Apple, Google). We do not store your provider password.
Music connection	Your Apple Music connection, an authorization token, and now-playing/song metadata used for the Service's features.
Social & content	Friends and connections, blocks, reports, "echoes" (song comments), chat messages, presence/live-listening status.
Payments	If you make purchases, our payment processor (e.g., Stripe) handles your card details. We receive limited transaction metadata, not full card numbers.
Device & usage	App interactions, diagnostics, and technical data needed to operate and secure the Service.

Waitlist signups. When you join the launch waitlist on our website, we collect the first and last name, email address, and city and state you submit. This information is stored with our hosting and database provider (Supabase) and is used to notify you about launch, invite you to beta testing, and plan our rollout (including features that group listeners by city). We do not sell it, and you can ask us to remove you from the waitlist at any time by emailing contact@inttandem.com.

2. How we use information

To provide core features: co-listening, matchmaking, echoes, chat, friends and connections, and presence.
To process payments and maintain any wallet/credit features.
To moderate content, prevent abuse, and keep the Service secure.
To communicate with you about the Service, and (only with consent where required) marketing.

3. Age requirement (18+)

The Service is intended only for adults 18 years of age or older. It is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

4. How we share information

With other users: your username, avatar, presence, echoes, and (for connected users) chat are visible to users you interact with.
Service providers (processors): hosting and database (Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), transactional email (e.g., Resend), and authentication providers — used only to operate the Service.
Apple Music: we exchange the data needed to connect your Apple Music account at your direction.
Legal & safety: when required by law or to protect users and to prevent harm or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.

5. Retention & deletion

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
You can delete your account in-app. Deletion removes your profile and associated records (e.g., connections, echoes, messages) subject to limited retention required by law.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.

8. International users

We may process information in countries other than where you live. Where information is transferred to another country, we take steps intended to keep it protected in line with this Policy.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by other reasonable means, with the updated effective date shown above.
