Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and TTANDEM LLC ("ttandem", "we", "us") governing your use of the ttandem application and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & age requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is intended only for adults and is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.
By using the Service you represent that you are 18 or older and that the date of birth you provide is accurate. Providing a false age is a violation of these Terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
You authenticate through third-party providers (e.g., Apple, Google). Their terms also apply to that sign-in.
One person per account; do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or age.

3. Music services

ttandem connects to Apple Music, which you authorize. Your use of Apple Music is governed by Apple's terms and requires a valid subscription where applicable. We are not responsible for Apple Music, its availability, or its content.

4. User content & conduct

You are responsible for content you post, including "echoes" (comments tied to songs), chat messages, your username, and profile information ("User Content").
You will not post or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative of minors, threatening, infringing, or otherwise objectionable, and you will not use the Service to harm or harass others.
We use filtering and moderation tools and may remove content or restrict accounts, but we do not pre-screen all content and are not liable for User Content.
You can block and report other users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and display your User Content for the purpose of operating the Service.

5. Payments & wallet

If the Service offers a wallet, credits, or paid features, payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). You agree to their terms. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase, amounts are non-refundable. We may change pricing prospectively.

6. Prohibited use

No reverse engineering, scraping, automated access, or interfering with the Service's operation or security.
No attempts to circumvent the age or interaction restrictions.
No unlawful use or violation of others' rights.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability).

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TTANDEM LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by other reasonable means, and continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable U.S. federal law and the laws of the state in which TTANDEM LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
